The Art of Foley Sound | John Roesch – Foley Artist (November 2 at 1:00 pm)
John Roesch is an American Foley artist who was the head Foley artist at Lucasfilm’s Skywalker Ranch before retiring this year. His work can be heard on more than 400 films, including Pinocchio, Lightyear, Encanto, Star Wars, Tenet, Avengers Endgame, Frozen and Toy Story 4.
“Ghosts of Napa Valley” | Dr. Eugenia Scott (November 2 at 4:00 pm)
Following the film, anthropologist and Wonderfest Science Ambassador, Dr. Eugenia Scott will be in attendance to unravel the science of being afraid, one scare at a time.
“Super 8” Screening | Joel Courtney (November 2 at 7:00 pm)
Actor Joel Courtney will be in attendance for a Q&A following the film. Since he burst onto the scene in the summer of 2011 in J.J. Abrams’ SUPER 8, his leading role opposite Joey King and Jacob Elordi in the hit KISSING BOOTH trilogy for Netflix confirmed his box office appeal as a leading man. Joel most recently wrapped the independent feature 40 DATES AND 40 NIGHTS as the male lead opposite Bailee Madison.
A.I. Workshop | Andrew Gordon (November 3 at 1:00 pm)
Andrew Gordon was a 20-year veteran animator at Pixar before becoming head of animation at London’s DNEG, one of the world’s leading visual effects and animation studios. He is best is known for Monsters, Inc. (2001), Ratatouille (2007) and Finding Nemo (2003).
