CIA at Copia celebrates the rich connection between food and film with an array of films and documentaries where food and culture play integral roles. From timeless classics to the latest releases, our screenings will span genres, decades, styles, and regions. After each screening, relish a menu inspired by the film, featuring special dishes crafted by guest chefs to complement the film. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a culinary adventure!

In October, we celebrate the Oscar®-nominated film Sideways about two friends embarking on a road trip in the Santa Barbara County wine region as they say goodbye to their old lives and discover themselves.

The evening includes a wine country dinner tribute by Chef Frank Ostini of Hitching Post (featured in the film) and conversation with Actor Virginia Madsen and Director Alexander Payne.

Wine and NA beverages are included with the dinner.
